Research

Broadly conceptulaized, Dr. Brewer's research focuses on the impact(s) of privatization of public education by way of school vouchers, charter schools, and homeschooling.  He is also interested in the impact that alternative teacher certification programs have on the teaching profession.  Additionally, he explores the impact(s) of Christian nationalism and anti-science/anti-intellectualism in the nation's schools.
